1. Invest in landscaping: money spent on quality landscaping is money well-spent. Unless you totally go overboard for your neighborhood, you will recoup the costs when you sell the home. A bonus is that you won’t be known as “that neighbor who does nothing with their yard.”

3. Manage irrigation: preserve your landscape investment and save money and water with an irrigation system. It’s important to note that your irrigation system’s watering program will have to be adjusted from season to season, and will need to be properly winterized before the coldest temps hit.
